For EVERY Child

user inserted image     The employees of the Alcorn School District welcome you to our homepage.  If you need additional information, please contact the Alcorn School District Administrative Offices or one of our school offices, where someone will be glad to assist you.
Just as our motto says, the Alcorn School District is "For EVERY Child."  The children are the reason the district exists, and our employees strive daily to ensure that every child's needs are met.  Due to the efforts of our educators and students, we are a Grade "B" High Performing School District.
Feel free to contact the district office with your suggestions or ideas.  We want to hear from you so that we may better serve our children, parents, and community.  Thank you for supporting our children!

  • KMS ICTII Wins Top 8 Spots in Stock Market Game

Each spring semester, the students in ICTII at Kossuth Middle School play the Stock Market Game.  This gives students the chance to invest a hypothetical $100,000 in an online portfolio, buying and selling for ten weeks.  Brian Langley from Edward Jones and Company in Corinth gets them off to a good start by discussing with them what is happening in the economy now and how everything that happens in the world affects us and the stock market.

The 8th grade recently won the top eight spots in the Stock Market Game.  Pictured are the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams that received their awards in Clinton, MS.
